How do I download my Capitec statement as a PDF?
In the Capitec app, open Transact → Statements (or use Internet Banking), choose the period, and download or email yourself the PDF. Upload that file here — your Capitec login is never entered on our site.
Does it work with Capitec current, savings and credit-card statements?
Yes — any Capitec statement PDF works, whether it is a current, savings or a credit-card statement. The engine reads the layout of the document you upload, and every running balance is verified to the cent.
Does it handle amounts in South African rand?
Yes. Capitec statements are denominated in South African rand (ZAR), and amounts parse exactly as printed — including thousands separators and the statement's own date format. The reconciliation check runs in the statement's currency, to the smallest unit.
Do I need my Capitec login?
No. You upload the statement PDF you already download from Capitec yourself — we never ask for your Capitec username, password or any banking credentials.
Can I convert a scanned Capitec statement?
Yes. If you only have a scan of a Capitec statement instead of a downloaded PDF, upload the scanned PDF — the engine reads it directly and still reconciles every running balance to the cent. A sharp phone photo can work too, but a scan or the original PDF reads most reliably.
