Convert a PDF bank statement to CSV
CSV is the universal import format: convert your statement PDF into a plain, comma-delimited file you can load into accounting software, a database or any spreadsheet app. Each transaction is one row with the date, description, amount and running balance, and every balance is reconciled to the cent before you download. Convert the first 3 pages free, no sign-up, and export the CSV. A free account converts the whole statement.

Three steps. Most statements take seconds.
No templates to set up, no mapping rules to configure. What used to be an afternoon of hand-keying becomes structured rows you can trust — and every balance is checked, so you catch a misread before it hits the books.
Upload your PDF
Drag in one bank statement PDF. Any bank, any layout — digital or scanned, single or multi-account.
We extract & check
Our engine reads every date, description, amount and balance, then cross-checks running totals so the numbers actually reconcile.
Export in one click
See every row and balance check instantly — the first 3 pages, no sign-up. Download it as Excel, CSV, JSON or OFX (QuickBooks & Xero) right away; a free account keeps every conversion so you can come back and re-export.
See a real conversion
Open the actual output from a real 6-page Northbridge Credit Union statement — 22 transactions, every running balance reconciled to the cent. No upload, no account.
Good questions, answered
What delimiter and encoding does the CSV use?
Standard comma-separated values in UTF-8, with a header row. Fields that contain a comma or quote are quoted per the usual CSV convention, so the file imports cleanly into spreadsheets, databases and accounting tools.
What is one row in the CSV?
One transaction per row, with columns for date, description, amount and the running balance — the same reconciled data you would see in the Excel export, in a plain-text file.
Are the amounts clean numbers or formatted text?
Amounts are written as plain numbers without currency symbols or thousands separators, so they parse directly on import — no find-and-replace pass needed first.
Can I import the CSV into my accounting software?
Yes — a UTF-8 CSV imports into most tools that accept a transactions file. If your software prefers a bank-feed file, you can also export OFX, which imports into Xero and QuickBooks Online (use CSV for QuickBooks Desktop). Every export ships today: Excel (.xlsx), CSV, JSON and OFX.
