Privacy Policy

Your bank statements are sensitive, and we treat them that way. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1Our approach
We collect as little as we need to run the Service, use it only to give you your results, and keep it under your control. The short version:
- Your documents are used only to produce your results.
- We do not use your documents to train our systems.
- We never sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
- Your conversions stay until you delete them — and you can delete them any time.
2What we collect
- Documents and results. The bank-statement files you upload and the structured results we produce from them — including conversions you make before creating an account.
- Account information. If you create an account, your name and email address, and (for password sign-in) a securely hashed password.
- Usage and technical data. Basic information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as log and device information and the actions you take in the app.
- Communications. Messages you send us, such as support requests or reports about a conversion.
3How we use it
We use the information above to:
- convert your documents and make your results available to you;
- operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service, and prevent abuse;
- respond to your support requests and reports;
- keep you informed about the Service and, if you opt in, send a light reminder to convert your statements;
- meet legal and accounting obligations.
4Documents & training
6Service providers
We rely on a small number of vetted providers to run the Service — for example, for hosting and processing infrastructure and for sending email. These providers may handle your data only on our instructions, under confidentiality obligations, and only to provide their service to us. They may not use it for their own purposes.
7Where your data lives & security
Your documents and their results are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are stored on servers in North America. Access is limited to what is needed to operate the Service, and we use technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep improving how we do it.
8How long we keep it
Your conversions — including ones you make before creating an account — stay available to you until you delete them. We do not auto-delete your results on a timer. When you delete a conversion or your account, we remove the documents and results from the Service; residual copies may remain in secure backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten. Account information is kept while your account is open and for a short period afterward as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.
9Your choices & rights
You can view, correct, export, and delete your conversions from your workspace, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access or restrict how your personal information is used. To make a request, email privacy@… and we will respond within a reasonable time.
11Children
The Service is intended for business and professional use by people aged 18 or over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
12Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, give notice. Questions or requests? Email privacy@….
