BankStatementWise turns bank-statement PDFs into clean, reconciled data. What makes it different is the part most tools skip: it checks its own work, to the cent, and tells you exactly what to look at.
Why we built it
Turning a stack of PDF statements into usable spreadsheet rows is hours of careful, mind-numbing data entry — and the careful part is the whole point, because one transposed figure can throw off a reconciliation or a tax return. Plenty of tools will read a statement and hand you data. Far fewer tell you whether that data is actually right. So you end up checking every number by hand anyway, and the tool saved you less than it promised.
We built BankStatementWise around the check, not just the read. For every statement, it reconciles the transactions against the statement’s own opening and closing balances and flags any row it isn’t sure about — so the numbers are trustworthy before they reach your books, and the rows worth a second look are the ones already marked.
What makes it different
Reconciliation is the feature, not a footnote. A conversion that balances to the cent is one you can hand off; one that doesn’t is flagged, not quietly wrong. That is the difference between “here’s some data” and “here’s data you can rely on” — and it is the reason the work goes from hours to a few seconds without trading away trust.
