Convert a PDF bank statement to Excel (.xlsx)
Drop in a statement PDF and get back a real Excel workbook — one row per transaction, with the date, description, amount and running balance in their own columns. Every running balance is cross-checked against its transactions, so the numbers reconcile before they reach your books. Convert the first 3 pages free, no sign-up; download the .xlsx free, no sign-up — or export CSV, JSON or OFX (for QuickBooks and Xero) from the same result.

Three steps. Most statements take seconds.
No templates to set up, no mapping rules to configure. What used to be an afternoon of hand-keying becomes structured rows you can trust — and every balance is checked, so you catch a misread before it hits the books.
Upload your PDF
Drag in one bank statement PDF. Any bank, any layout — digital or scanned, single or multi-account.
We extract & check
Our engine reads every date, description, amount and balance, then cross-checks running totals so the numbers actually reconcile.
Export in one click
See every row and balance check instantly — the first 3 pages, no sign-up. Download it as Excel, CSV, JSON or OFX (QuickBooks & Xero) right away; a free account keeps every conversion so you can come back and re-export.
See a real conversion
Open the actual output from a real 6-page Northbridge Credit Union statement — 22 transactions, every running balance reconciled to the cent. No upload, no account.
Good questions, answered
Will the amounts be real numbers I can sum in Excel?
Yes. Amounts and the running balance are written as numeric cells, not text — so SUM, filters, pivot tables and formulas work on them directly, with no cleanup of currency symbols or stray characters first.
What columns does the Excel file have?
One row per transaction with separate columns for date, description, amount and the running balance. Multi-account statements are kept separate so each account’s rows and balance stay together.
Does the running balance actually reconcile?
Every running balance is checked against its transactions and each row carries a confidence mark. If a figure does not reconcile, the row is flagged rather than quietly written in — so you can trust what you sum.
Do I need to set up a template for my bank?
No. The engine reads the layout of the PDF you upload, so there are no templates or mapping rules to configure — it works with digital and scanned PDFs, and needs no per-bank setup.
