Convert a bank statement PDF for Xero

Bring a PDF statement into Xero without manual data entry. Convert the PDF and export an OFX file — a format Xero imports for bank transactions — or a CSV for its statement import. The balances are reconciled to the cent before you export, so what you bring into Xero is already checked. Convert the first 3 pages free, no sign-up — and export them. A free account converts the whole statement.

How it works

Three steps. Most statements take seconds.

No templates to set up, no mapping rules to configure. What used to be an afternoon of hand-keying becomes structured rows you can trust — and every balance is checked, so you catch a misread before it hits the books.

01

Upload your PDF

Drag in one bank statement PDF. Any bank, any layout — digital or scanned, single or multi-account.

02

We extract & check

Our engine reads every date, description, amount and balance, then cross-checks running totals so the numbers actually reconcile.

03

Export in one click

See every row and balance check instantly — the first 3 pages, no sign-up. Download it as Excel, CSV, JSON or OFX (QuickBooks & Xero) right away; a free account keeps every conversion so you can come back and re-export.

FAQ

Good questions, answered

How do I import the file into Xero?

Export OFX and import it into the relevant bank account in Xero, or export CSV and use Xero’s statement import with its column mapping. Both files come from the same reconciled conversion.

Are you affiliated with Xero?

No. Xero is named only to describe what the exported file imports into; we are not affiliated with Xero. You export a standard OFX or CSV file and import it yourself.

Are the balances checked before import?

Yes — every running balance is reconciled against the transactions and any uncertain row is flagged, so you import figures you can trust rather than catching an error after the fact.

Do I need to connect my bank to Xero?

No bank feed and no login required. You upload a statement PDF you already downloaded — useful for older statements, closed accounts or banks Xero’s feed does not support.

Convert a statement — free

Free to try, no card, no sign-up. Most statements come back as a clean spreadsheet in a few seconds — even a big multi-month packet is typically done in about 30 seconds.
