What kind of scan works best?

Use complete pages, sharp text and even lighting. Avoid shadows, folds and cropped edges. If an original digital statement is available, use that PDF to avoid the recognition step introduced by a scan.

Does the balance check still run on a scan?

Will a phone photo of a statement work?
