Convert Multiple Bank Statements in One PDF (Merged & Multi-Month Files)

What counts as a merged statement file?

Three shapes show up constantly in real bookkeeping work:

• Multi-period exports. Online banking lets you export "last 12 months" or a date range, and produces one PDF holding several monthly or quarterly statements back-to-back, each with its own header and opening balance.
• Combined (consolidated) statements. One document covering several accounts — checking plus savings, or a business account family — each with its own summary and transaction table.

What does a correct multi-statement result look like?

• One statement per period or account, each with its own opening balance, closing balance, transaction rows and reconciliation verdict — not one long interleaved list.
• Accounts and periods clearly identified, so you can check that your packet contains all the months you need.
• A combined view when you want it: you can review all accounts and periods together as one joint table, and still export per statement or all at once.

Which cases deserve a second look?

• A missing month inside a packet. Check the printed periods and download any missing statement from your bank before completing the backlog.
• Statements from different banks merged into one file. This works, but check each statement's bank label in the result — and consider converting per-bank files separately if you want per-bank exports anyway.
• Large packets. Upload within the page limit shown in your workspace, keep every page of each statement together, and follow the progress on screen.
